JOB OVERVIEW As our Store Manager / Sales you will lead and support all activities to achieve store business objectives which include driving sales, elevating the in-store customer experience, and leading the team, while using your creative flair to create in-store events and selling opportunities to motivate the team and engage our customer base.
You will represent our luxury brand by promoting the company core values and customer-first culture that has made Current Home a leader in the home accessories industry.
ABOUT YOU We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring sales professional who can successfully develop an active client portfolio.
You must possess strong relationship building skills and know the importance of creating genuine connections with our customers.
You must enjoy staying up to date on the latest design trends, products and artisans we work with to skillfully provide information and guidance to our customers.
(A passion for home design is always a plus!) As a Sales Manager and Team Leader, you must be someone that is able to lead by example by working hard and supporting our dedicated team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES SALES Identify, recruit, and develop talent to secure a highly effective sales team as needed Schedule morning briefings and weekly meetings to communicate and inspire the team on corporate strategy and relevant business information Create effective creative sales strategies for clienteling, sourcing new customers and maintaining on-going productive relationships with customers to increase and retain customer loyalty Maintain an active presence on the selling floor, leading by example to demonstrate strong selling skills and facilitate an upbeat and energetic team environment Skillfully access the clients' needs and assign the best possible sales associate to help them with that transaction, personally engaging VIP clients Work with the marketing team to create sales tools for the sales staff to use to engage customers and use as a selling tool for customer outreach Proactively assess and manage performance against team goals Complete monthly recaps that thoughtfully evaluate the store performance and leverage learnings to positively impact future performance Share product feedback to influence a curated assortment that speaks to the local community Work in collaboration with the Store Operations Manager to ensure smooth operations including an organized stockroom, timely receiving and shipping and an accurate inventory at all times MARKETING Develop and implement sales plans, including identifying target clients and sales strategies based on customers' needs Suggest and oversee in-store promotions and creative events to drive foot traffic Help facilitate and execute marketing initiatives in and around the area Work on opportunities with customers looking for donations and sponsorship from our brand QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 3 years of management/leadership experience in a customer- focused luxury retail environment Bachelor's degree or equivalent combo of education and experience.
Proven track record of setting and achieving goals.
Knowledge of POS, Google Docs, and overall strong systems abilities Adept at using social media platforms including Instagram and Tik Tok to follow interior design-based clients, staying abreast of their projects and upcoming opportunities Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-Starter with excellent organization and attention to detail to process information and operate store systems accurately.
Ability to use program(s) to create/send photos/look books to clients as proposals.
(ex.
Canva, Photoshop) Ability to maneuver the sales floor and stockroom; climbing, bending, and kneeling are required.
Ability to lift, carry and move at least 30 pounds.
Must be available to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays Current Home is open 6 days a week (We are not open in the evenings except for appointments or special events.
